Ryan on a Treasure Hunt...

Ryan just came inside the house after being in the back yard for about 20 minutes. He was holding something in his hands and asked me the following question:
"Mom, can we wash this off?"

I looked more closely and about jumped out of my seat- he was holding the small container we buried on the side of our house with Ethan's old hampster inside- the dead hampster, just to clarify. Ryan was digging, as most kids love to do, and he thought he found a buried treasure.

I casually took the container from him, asked him to wash his hands and then cover up the hole he dug. When he went back outside, the container went straight into the trash. Hopefully Ethan never finds out...
